She's more than just an imperfect angel

Mariah Carey at the pinnacle of her performance of “I Want to Know What Love is” while belting her “whistle register.” This is a screenshot of a video, which was captured during one of her live performances. The video is posted on YouTube.com. To view so, click here.

HER MOST RECENT ALBUM is titled Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

Mariah Carey (MC), unquestionably, is an unparalleled artist. When people in the music industry converse about whistle register, MC is the very first name to emerge in mind.

Conversely, a "whistle register" is also known as the “flute tone,” “whistle tone,” or “flageolet.” According to VocalFocus.com, “Flute register starts usually around B above the staff for women and B on the staff for men. This can also be found a bit lower in the voice for lower voice types.” (Click here for more information and facts about the whistle register.) In the case of MC, she can reach until F7#.

Could be written in the stars…

IT HAS BEEN A decade since the last time I listened to this song: I Believe by Fantasia Barrino… (The artist, candidly speaking, has been successful in delivering the emotions that should be possessed by the singer.) Back in my high school days, this was one of my favorite.

Yesterday, something happened to me in Taguig. And listening to this song, this morning, made me feel comforted from the experience. Whatever happened, I guess I’ve come up with the generalization that is paradoxical to my blog’s motto: We control our destiny.

Someone told me to view this song on YouTube.com…

THIS SONG IS TITLED “Prayer for a friend” by the Casting Crowns.

(Please see lyrics and video below.)

Lord, I lift my friend to You, I've done all that I know to do
I lift my friend to You
Complicated circumstances have clouded his view
Lord, I lift my friend up to You

Daggers could be hidden in the notes of Christian songs

TONIGHT, I AM LISTENING to my playlist of Christian worship songs.

Listening to this kind of music uplifts my spirit. The songs glorify the Lord and praise His might and greatness that it brings bliss to my soul. It makes me glad and I know it's Him, Jesus, who makes me glad.
