I’m a writer with multiple
personality tendencies. Tendencies, not disorder, because my psychiatrist
needed more time to confirm it—and her time was too expensive for me to afford
any further at the time. But a psychologist friend diagnosed me back in college
using my penmanship, and a graphologist colleague confirmed it with an
assessment of my signature.
You might know me as Sam, Al, Alchris,
Earen, Mata, or might have known me as two of the seven I have silenced: Chris
and Christof. I have seven names. I react and act and project differently to
each one. Whichever names you know me, remember that I am the person you’ve
first met. Or at least try to be.
